Yes.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes. A thank you letter, which serves as your tax receipt, will be mailed as soon as possible after receipt of your gift.
Does my donation really matter?
Yes, every gift is important. Increasing the percentage of alumni who contribute is an important goal for the College. Funding agencies often request the percentage of alumni who support the College.
If my spouse is also an alum of Georgetown College, will we both get credit for making a single gift?
Yes. Georgetown alumni spouses each receive credit for the full amount of the joint gift.
Can I make a gift anonymously?
Yes. Simply let us know at the time the gift is made that you want to remain anonymous.
Can I make a gift in honor or memory of someone?
Yes. Please tell us the name of the person you want to honor or remember at the time of your gift. Please provide the name and address of the person(s) you would like for us to notify of your gift.
